The 2022 Summer Institute for Equity in the Academic Experience held in June saw 16 teams across Penn State colleges and campuses, as well as seven teams from regional colleges and universities, gather in person at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually to focus on expanding access and advancing academic equity at their institutions.
Penn State Abington student Jessica Peskin led Hillel, the organization devoted to engaging students in Judaism, through a period of growth that started, surprisingly enough, during the pandemic. Peskin booked speakers on timely Jewish topics, engineered a trivia game show, a magic show, and coordinated with Hillel at University Park to host actor Josh Peck, co-star of the hit sitcom "Drake & Josh."
Face masks are now required to be worn indoors on eight Penn State campuses, in accordance with public health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that advises that masks be worn in counties with high COVID-19 Community Levels.

Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.
